Do you love Jesus and high school kids? Come join us for YOUNG LIFE 101. In six brief Sunday sessions we will learn about Young Life, adolescent culture, being on mission, what it means to be a missional community, and time management in that pursuit. We will also share some thoughts about Jesus, how to share our own faith verbally and non-verbally with non-believers, and what it looks like to disciple someone.
By coming to the six weeks you are not saying you will be a Young Life leader. We simply want to equip you to make an informed decision if you feel called to lead in this mission with us. Even if you do not end up being a Young Life leader you will still take things away from this time that you can use anywhere in any mission field. Please join us to consider if you might be interested in being a part our missional community!
When: September 20, and 27, October 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 3 – 5pm
Where: Salem United Methodist Church (1200 South Lindbergh Blvd 63131)
In Young Life we are always looking to create and share experiences with kids. Coming up with creative ways to have fun with kids is something Young Life has been doing for over 70 years. A small example of that was Ladue Young Life’s Instagram Club. A night of running around town and sharing pictures as it all unfolded and then coming together at the end for the picture you see below.
The first week of August kids from Kirkwood, Maplewood, Parkway West, and Webster Groves had the best week of their lives at Castaway in Minnesota. You can see all the video from the week right here: Young Life Castaway Week 9
