So far, our winter has been filled with laughter and joy! As club gets back into full swing this week, we are excited to see what incredible things our great God has in store for Young Life in St. Louis County schools. The options are endless and we wait expectantly to see what seas God will part this semester. As always, thank you for your support and prayers as leaders continue to head into the lives of our high school friends, to live life with them, and to love them. Thank you for giving the gift of eternity!
This spring in St. Louis, thousands of kids will walk across the stage and graduate high school. Almost none of them will have had a conversation with an adult about who Jesus is and how much He loves them.
If that bothers you, come join us for YOUNG LIFE 101. In six brief Sunday sessions we will learn about Young Life, adolescent culture, being on mission, what it means to be a missional community, and time management in that pursuit. We will also share some thoughts about Jesus, how to share our own faith verbally and non-verbally with non-believers, and what it looks like to disciple someone.
By coming to the six weeks you are not saying you will be a Young Life leader. We simply want to equip you to make an informed decision if you feel called to lead in this mission with us. Even if you do not end up being a Young Life leader you will still take things away from this time that you can use anywhere in any mission field. Please join us to consider if you might be interested in being a part our missional community!
When: February 15, and 22, March 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 3 – 5pm
Where: Salem United Methodist Church (1200 South Lindbergh Blvd 63131)
